Shipping & Delivery

After payment has been received we ship your package withing 2 to 5 working days. Once we send your package you will receive a tracking code to follow the shipment of your order.  

Delays in delivery can be  experienced through all delivery channels and Salaam Art International will not be held responsible for this delay.

We reserve the right to revert to our customers for additional shipping charges prior to dispatch of the order in case of need. We will happily refund the order if the extra shipping required is not acceptable to the customer. 

  1. Salaam Art International will post, or arrange a courier on your behalf, for the goods ordered by you to the person and address you give Salaam Art International at the time you make your order.  The goods are delivered from the Netherlands. The consignee (ie the person to whom the consignment is sent) will be the declarant and importer into the country for which the consignment is destined. The consignee will be responsible for both customs clearance and payment of customs duties and local taxes where required. 
  2. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of dispatch of the order. All delivery times quoted on the website are estimates only, based on availability, normal processing and delivery companies. 
  3. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when the goods are dispatched to you from our office. 
  4. The costs of delivery will be as displayed to you on our website during the checkout process. 
  1. Deal with technical problems or make minor technical changes;  
  2. Update the product to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements;  
  3. Make changes to the product as requested by you or notified by us to 

 

  1. When you buy digital content, what you are allowed to do with it is limited.  In particular, you may not make copies of it, print more than a specific number of pages, distribute it to any other person, modify it, convert it to a different format or include it in another work without the consent of the publisher, unless the law allows you to do so.   
  2. We will make the digital content available for download by you as soon as we accept your order. 
  3. Withdrawal from the contract by you in case of eBooks orders is only possible when the eBook has not yet been delivered. Refund is otherwise not possible. 
  4. Some digital content is subject to compatibility restrictions, particularly eBooks.  We will always make those compatibility restrictions clear to you before you pay for the digital content.   

You are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to VAT (Value Added Tax), other taxes, customs duties and/or fees levied by the destination country. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. It is accepted by you that Salaam Art International has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. Salaam Art International recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order. 

This is as follows: 

  1. If the goods Salaam Art International delivers are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, Salaam Art International shall have no liability to you unless you notify Salaam Art International of the problem, in writing using ourcontact form within 10 working days of the delivery of goods in question. 
  2. If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which they were dispatched to you, Salaam Art International shall have no liability to you unless you notify Salaam Art International in writing at the Salaam Art International  contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which the goods were dispatched to you. 
  3. If you notify a problem to Salaam Art International under this condition, Salaam Art International only obligation will be, at its option, to make good any shortage or non-delivery; to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question to the original method of payment, unless such method is no longer valid in which case Salaam Art Internationale coupons will be issued to the value of the refund due. 
  4. Salaam Art International will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem you notify to Salaam Art International under this condition and Salaam Art International shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under paragraph (c) above. 
  5.  Nothing in this condition is, however, intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit Salaam Art International liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from its negligence. 

Nothing in this contract creates any right which is enforceable by any person who is not a party to the contract. 

Returns & Exchanges

  1. Contact Salaam Art within 10 working days upon receipt of your order which item you wish to return. Kindly enter the contact form on Salaam-art.com. The return order should be received within 20 days upon receipt of the return address. Optional, let us know the reason for return.  
  2. Kindly repack the item (in its original packaging, if applicable). The buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the order.  
  • Contact us  within 10 working days upon receipt of your order.  We may ask you to provide:
    • Images of the item depicting the damage caused 
    • The image(s) you send us must also include the packaging the item(s) arrived in including the delivery note. This enables us to process your claim as quickly as possible and helps us to identify areas where our services can be improved.  We will make arrangements for the return of the damaged items and will issue a refund once the damaged or incorrect items have been received. 
  • Similarly if you receive a faulty item containing printing faults or physical defects, please send us an image of the item so that we can ensure that a replacement/refund is processed for you. This also enables us to quality check our remaining stock. The postal costs will be for sellers responsibility for returning the goods.

Salaam Art International will initiate the refund process once the return delivery has been received. Salaam Art International will make the refund to the card that was used to pay for the original order. Cash refunds will not be madeIf the refund exceeds the amount originally paid, Salaam Art may issue a credit voucher against future ordersThe refund will be issued within 14 days of the return being received, though it can take up to 30 days to appear on your credit card statementThe cost of returning damaged or faulty items will be refunded to you, but this needs to be agreed in advance of return.
